Who We Are

Irl L. Scissors currently heads ILS Consulting, LLC. With over ten years of experience in Jefferson City and Washington, D.C., Irl is uniquely qualified to represent clients before the General Assembly, the Executive Branch and Congress. He is a registered lobbyist in Missouri and Washington, D.C.

Prior to maintaining his own firm, Irl spent two years as the Missouri affiliate for Integrated Solutions Group, a Washington, D.C. based lobbying firm.

Irl is a former Policy Advisor for Governor Bob Holden serving as the Governor’s liaison to the Missouri Departments of Natural Resources, Conservation, Corrections and Labor and Industrial Relations.

Irl spent four years in Washington, D.C. in government affairs first with the Grocery Manufacturers of America and then the American Stock Exchange. He is a veteran of numerous political campaigns.

Irl attended Saint Louis University School of Law earning his J.D. in 2000 with a Certificate in Employment Law. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Indiana University.

Irl, his wife, Jennifer and two sons reside in St. Louis, Missouri.
